About Miracles To Believe In

Our History and key dates

  • In 2000 a new unit for autistic children was opened in a Leicestershire Primary school. Miracles To Believe In was founded in 2001 by the parents of children attending the autism unit and the Headteacher at the time as a means of raising funds to provide equipment, facilities and excursions that would be beneficial and relevant to them.
  • In 2003 Miracles to Believe In became a registered charity.
  • Whilst initially the charity sought to raise funds for the autism unit, it has since progressed to providing support and leisure opportunities for autistic children and young people in Leicestershire.
